Cultivating the Future

We are excited to share a leadership update at GO Seed as we continue advancing our mission to deliver innovative solutions in seed breeding and development.

First, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Trent Tate has accepted the position of Director of Research at GO Seed. Since joining GO Seed as a plant breeder, Dr. Tate has demonstrated unparalleled expertise in grass, legume, and forb breeding. His leadership and dedication to research excellence make him the ideal candidate to drive innovation and maintain the highest quality across all our breeding programs.

Dr. Tate’s passion for plant breeding, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail, has already enhanced our research capabilities. As Director of Research, he will play a pivotal role in our mission to remain a leader in turf, forage, and cover crop breeding.

We also wish to congratulate Dr. Shannon Cappellazzi, who has accepted the role of Statewide Extension Specialist for the Organic Agriculture Program at Oregon State University. Dr. Cappellazzi has been a cornerstone of our team, and we are incredibly proud of the impact she will have in this vital new role supporting organic agriculture.

We are confident these leadership changes will further strengthen our ability to deliver the high-quality products and support you rely on.
